'Buddy' kicks a goal with Nena

HAWTHORN'S Lance "Buddy" Franklin put his fashion foot forward as he kicked off his new men's T-shirt label Nena & Pasadena.

Franklin and his business partners Tim Arandt, Ryan Griggs, and Paul Edwards chose SP Connected to develop the brands website, www.nenaandpasadena.com and spearhead their email marketing.

Nena and Pasadena which launched on the AFL Footy Show in June is Franklin's first opportunity to dabble in fashion designing. "I absolutely love fashion. I love dressing well and looking good," he said at the media launch held at Left Bank restaurant at Southgate.

The label will also allow Franklin to donate some of the proceeds to his new foundation to help indigenous childrens education.
